In December of 2010, a cold rain led to the freezing of
the unpicked portion of the olive crop. A visiting
agricultural inspector declared the frozen olives dead and
unusable. Cesar Uribe, founding director of Miracle Ranch,
was on his way to give the order for the frozen olives to be
picked and burned when he noticed an olive that was not
frozen. The same agricultural inspector returned and
declared, “these olives were dead, but are now alive!!”
This Certified Extra Virgin olive oil is made exclusively
from the resurrected olives.
100% of the proceeds from this Olive Oil, will go
directly toward the purchase of an olive press and other
necessary agricultural equipment to provide self-sufficiency
to Miracle Ranch Children’s Home, in Valle de las Palmas,
Mexico.
It’s all about the children!!!!
Located 20 miles south of Tecate, Mexico, Miracle Ranch
is nestled in the hills, just across the river, from the
small rural village called Valle de las Palmas. Miracle
Ranch has operated as a children’s home for abandoned,
abused and neglected children over the past 35 years. In
1986, Cesar and Cheryl Uribe came to the ranch through a
calling from God and began the expansion of the ranch that
currently serves up to fifty boys and girls.
Miracle Ranch sits within a 120 acre olive grove, which
has over 3,500 mature olive trees. They were planted in 1975
by the Homes founder, who had a vision that the olive trees
would provide a steady income for the Children’s Home.
